Foster’s Grille opens
STAFFORD — Stafford now has another option when it comes to ordering a hamburger. Foster's Grille, a franchise restaurant that already operates locations in Manassas and Massaponax, has opened a new location in the Carter’s Crossing shopping center, off of Warrenton Road in the southern portion of the county.

The restaurant opened for business Aug. 15.

Owner Scott McKee operates the Stafford location and said finding the location for his restaurant was an easy decision.

“We are a casual restaurant that offers great food in a family-friendly atmosphere,” said McKee.

People have come to know Foster’s menu from its half-pound char-burger, which is served with French fries. The restaurant also offers chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, salads and vegetarian options. Foster’s also offers 11 beers and makes their own milkshakes and lemonade. McKee said his menu prices range from $5.99 to $8.99.

McKee, who lives in Maryland, said he and his business partners might open another location in the region within the next six months, possibly in the former Aquia Towne Center, currently under redevelopment and to be renamed The Town Center at Aquia.

Foster’s Grille is open during the week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and during the weekends from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We are not a bar, but we are a perfect place for that construction worker to come in and enjoy a beer with their burger,” said McKee.
