Books-A-Million to Replace Joseph-Beth Booksellers
FREDERICKSBURG — By Aug. 1, Books-A-Million will open a brand new store in the same 26,000-square foot-space currently occupied by the former Joseph-Beth Booksellers, which filed for Chapter 11 protection in Nov. 2010. Joseph-Beth Booksellers is now closing out its retail operation at The Village at Towne Centre — Spotsylvania Towne Centre’s open-air section at the junction of Interstate 95 and Route 3 near Fredericksburg.
The 1.7 million square foot complex offers more than 120 department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.

Nut company opens branch in Stafford
STAFFORD — Try My Nuts nut company opened last last month in Stafford. This family-owned company has three stores in the Outer Banks area of North Carolina and has operated since 1999. The new store is located at 1183 Warrenton Road next to Walmart. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
