Building’s open house to be held
FREDERICKSBURG — The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board and Sunshine Lady Foundation will host an open house at the new Lafayette Boulevard Boarding House on Dec. 11, 2009 from 3 to 5 p.m. The newly-renovated facility will expand residential services offered by RACSB for adults with serious mental illness.
Parking is available at the Ronald W. Branscome Building, RACSB Fredericksburg Clinic and Administrative Office, located at 600 Jackson Street, Fredericksburg. RACSB will provide a van shuttle service from the clinic to the Lafayette Boarding House.
Festival to benefit Hope House
FREDERICKSBURG — The 2009 Festival of Trees, the signature fundraising event for Rappahannock Refuge, Inc. — more commonly known as Hope House — will take place Dec. 4-12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.
Hope House in Fredericksburg was established in 1987 to serve homeless women and their children from the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline and King George.
