Candlelight Tours

Martha Washington hosts an 18th-century Christmas with candlelit walks, fireside caroling and early American décor during “Mount Vernon by Candlelight.” The Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (November 27, 28 and 29; December 4, 5 and 6; and 11, 12 & 13) from 5 to 8 p.m., are the only times during the holidays that the estate is open for public evening tours. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Ford Orientation Center (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily), or through Visit.MountVernon.org. Admission is $18 for adults and $12 for children under 12. Web Conference

A free web conference for family caregivers, “The Best Care for Your Parents: Senior Care Solutions and Potential Pitfalls,” will be held at 7 p.m. This educational session is designed to help family caregivers plan for their loved ones’ care. Warhol Exhibition
The Muscarelle Museum of Art on the campus of the College of William & Mary, in Williamsburg, is featuring Andy Warhol’s multi-media exhibition,“Voyeurism.” The exhibition will run through Jan. 17, 2010, and features more than100 of Warhol’s photographs, film and silkscreens of glamorous celebrities, socialites, and artists of the 60s and 70s.
