The swing band ‘King Teddy” is up next on the schedule for the Bluemont Concert Series.
The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Maury School Stadium at Hanover Street and Kenmore Avenue in Historic Fredericksburg.
People attending the concert are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics.
Admission is $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont Friends and seniors and $2 for children under 12, according to a Bluemont Press release.
The concerts are made possible by a public-private partnership that includes the City of Fredericksburg along with Stafford, Spotsylvania, and King George counties.
Over the summer, Bluemont will present more than 50 concerts in eight communities in northwest and central Virginia. All of the concerts in Fredericksburg will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Maury School Stadium.

July 23, World Jam Club– world beat jazz
July 30, John McCutcheon–folk music
Aug. 6, Elby Brass on– street brass band
Aug. 13, Martinsburg Jazz Orchestra – big band
Aug. 20, Pan Masters – steel drum ensemble
Aug. 27, Daryl Davis – boogie-woogie rock
No pets alcohol or smoking are allowed at the concerts, the release stated
