“The Bachelor” is back this season, and sillier than ever, complete with a commercial teaser of a grandmother on crutches professing her love to the show’s newest bachelor, Ben Flajnik.
Ben and 25 lovely ladies, plus grandma, debuted Monday, entertaining audiences everywhere — even those who don’t admit they watch the show, which has steadily gotten cornier over the seasons.
But, those who still tune in want to find out if this go-around’s bachelor will find love.
Ben sent seven contestants packing and kept the rest. Among those he kept around were Lindzi, who received the First Impression Rose after riding in on a horse; Grandma’s granddaughter Brittney; a model named Courtney who declared about the other girls: “I’m better than them”; and a teary-eyed, sensitive soul named Jenna.
Last season, Ben lost out to J.P. Rosenbaum, who won Bachelorette Ashley’s Hebert’s heart.
Now, it’s the Sonoma, California winemaker’s turn to find the love of his life.
