Jessie Stamper Angus
Jessie Stamper Angus, 100, of Stafford County, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Greenfield Assisted Living in South Stafford.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Salkeld Stamper; and a sister, Edith Stamper Fleming.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas P. Angus of Georgia and Edward L. Angus of Durango, Colorado; a granddaughter, Catherine E. Angus; and her caregivers, nephew John Fleming and his wife, Carolyn, of Stafford.
Covenant Funeral Service Stafford is handling the arrangements. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Roberta Elizabeth "Bertie" McGhee Byram, 93, of Stafford County, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, surrounded by her family at Hughes Home, Fredericksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Mae McGhee; and two brothers, Robert McGhee and Elton S. "Shorty" McGhee.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 72 years, Gordon; her son, Claude; one granddaughter; two great- granddaughters; and a nephew.
A funeral was held April 17, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, with interment following in Ramoth Baptist Church Cemetery.

William J. Decatur, 80, of Stafford County, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Stafford Hospital Center.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Brown.
Survivors include his children, Gail Stevens, David W. Decatur, Dale M. Decatur, and Jamie Cabaniss; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bobbie Ann Connors, Betty Brooks and Darlene Duerden; and a caregiver, Paula Tepner.

Robert Leroy Delano, 32, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, April 18, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Delano.
Survivors include his father, Leroy Delano of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Sherri Purnell of Madison, Wisconsin, and Karen Delano of Fredericksburg; a brother, Gardner W. Delano of Los Angeles, Calif.; a paternal grandmother, Ethel Delano of Fredericksburg; a niece; two nephews; an aunt and uncle, Sylvia and Jerry Todt, of Fredericksburg; and two cousins.
A memorial service was held April 23 at Salem Fields Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen J. “Sug” Grimes.
Survivors include her son, Thomas B. Grimes of Fredericksburg; her daughter, Deborah G. Stroud of King George; her grandchildren; ten great -grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Joann Carpenter of Stafford; her brother, William Berry, of Fredericksburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Hildebrand of Stafford; two daughters, Mary Ellen Taylor of Stafford, and Diane J. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Kenneth Kingsley.
Survivors include his wife, Mori; his daughters, Karen Littlehale and Kimberly Daniels; his son, Cameron K. Kingsley; his sisters, Eleanor Parrow, and Barbara Scott; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Eugene Peterson; a son, William F. Taylor; a brother, Lloyd Franklin Dove, and sisters, Loretta Hamm and Emma Gramlich.
Survivors include her sons, Clarence L. Taylor Jr. of Stafford, Leonard L. Taylor of Fredericksburg, and Calvin D. Peterson of Stephen City; a daughter, Norma Jean Miller of Spotsylvania; brothers, Clarence Dove of Myrtle Beach, Joseph Lam of Richmond, and Kirby Lam of Harrisonburg; sisters, Thelma Kettner of Centreville and Betty Jean Miller; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
