Dolores Ann Gates, 56, of Falmouth, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Gates was preceded in death by her parents, George and Onieda Gates; and by her brother, James E. Gates.
Survivors include her fiancé of 21 years, David Graves; two nieces; two nephews; several cousins; and her best friend, Mary Morehouse.
A funeral service was held Feb. 21 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with interment following in Ramoth Baptist Church Cemetery.
