Restaurant draws cows

»  Comments | Post a Comment

STAFFORD — The Celebrate Virginia Chick-fil-A on Warrenton Road recently turned its parking lot into a pasture.

The fast food chicken restaurant celebrated its annual Cowstravaganza by giving out a year’s worth of free meals to the first 100 people through the door July 10. But the people had to be dressed like cows and spend the previous night in the “pasture” to participate. The event drew a crowd that spent the night playing games and watching movies before joining the herd that went through the door first thing in the morning.

All customers that showed up at Chick-fil-A restaurants dressed as a cow during operating hours on the appropriate day were treated to either a free entrée or a free meal.
