Myra Lena Dent

Myra Lena Dent, 85, of Stafford County, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at Stafford Hospital Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Estrel; and a son, Donald.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Darlene Baetz of Spotsylvania, Dennis Duane Dent of Stafford, Debra Diane Fitzgerald of Newport, N.C., Dena D. Hill of Stafford, and Gary E. Dent of Bristow; her sister, Ruby Hoover of Pensacola, Fla.; a niece; a nephew; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held June 1 at Covenant Funeral Service’s Stafford Chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Medi Home Health & Hospice 3302 Bourbon St., #2, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.

Rose Marie Lease

Rose Marie Lease, 77, of Stafford, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jessie Mellon; her husband, Gilbert L. Lease; and her daughter, Kay L. Apperson.

Survivors include her son, Michael Lease of Falmouth; a daughter, Terri L. Gray of Falmouth; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 29 at Falmouth Baptist Church, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Covenant Funeral Services, Fredericksburg Chapel handled the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tallpines Ave., Locust Grove, Va. 22508 or Falmouth Baptist Church, 302 Colonial Ave., Falmouth, VA 22405.

Wilson Miller

Wilson Miller, 92, of Alexandria, formally of Fredericksburg, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Susie King Miller.

Survivors include; his daughter, Susie Moss of Alexandria; his son, Raymond W. Miller of Front Royal; his sister, Thelma Dent of Stafford; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.

A service was held June 2 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
