Dorothy M. "Dottie" Cooper, 78, of Stafford died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Nettie Cooper; a brother, Austin Thomas Cooper; two sisters, Katie Virginia Payne and Beatrice Cooper Abel; and a nephew, Richard Earl Payne.
Survivors include her sister, Sylvia Sullivan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, including Richard, John and Pamela Abel and Emily Potter, all of the home.
A funeral service was held at Feb. 28 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford, with interment following in Ramoth Baptist Church cemetery.
Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford, handled the arrangements.
