Edward Randolph "Randy" Moore, 82, of Stafford County, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at Hughes Homes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mortimer and Virginia Snellings Moore, and a sister, Frances Moore Hedge.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Patricia Sullivan Moore; two sons, Philip and Thomas Moore of Stafford County; two stepchildren, Denise Furgason of Virginia Beach, and Bruce Furgason and his wife, Sylvia of Houston, Texas; one stepgrandson; three brothers, Daniel Moore and Charles Moore, both of Stafford County, and Carroll Moore of Spotsylvania County; a sister, Shirley Bowie of Fredericksburg; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

A service will be held March 19 at 10 a.m. at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with interment following in Hulls Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
