Carl Garnett Jones, Sr.
Carl Garnett Jones Sr., 80, of Stafford, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. and Lula Perry Jones; his brothers, Harry, Raymond, Daniel, Jesse and Floyd Jones; and sisters, Fraizer Curtis and Evelyn Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby V. Jones; daughters, Faye Yuen of Powhatan, Valerie Sullivan of Spotsylvania, and Carla Yuen of Manakin-Sabot; sons, Carl G. Jones Jr. of Mechanicsville and Jack M. Wiley Jr. of Spotsylvania; a sister, Bessie Craver; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Nov. 23 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford, with interment following in Quantico National Cemetery.

Nelson Nieves
Nelson Nieves, 57, of Stafford County, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Stafford Hospital Center.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Nieves; his son, Nelson Nieves Jr.; his daughter, Julie Bermea; his brothers, Elpidio Nieves and Richard Nieves; his sister, Rosemary Figueroa; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Nov. 24 at Quantico National Cemetery, with interment following in the cemetery.
Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford handled the arrangements.
Andrew Clyde Ours
Andrew Clyde Ours, 80, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ireda Ours; two daughters, Barbara Phillips and of Amissville and Kathy Simpson of Stafford; five sons, Roger Ours of Fairfax, Jack Ours of Stafford, Brady Ours of Haymarket, David Ours of Lorton, Thomas Ours of Manassas; two sisters, Arvella Vanmeter of Petersburg, W. VA, and Lucy Joy Alt of Cabins, W.Va.; one brother, Paul Ours of Cabins, W. Va.; nineteen grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel in Manassas handled the arrangements.
A funeral service was held Nov. 24 at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Manassas.
