Donna Gail Abel, 48, of Woodford, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Henrico Doctors Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Ray Abel Sr.; her son, Jerry Ray Abel Jr. of Ruther Glen; her daughter, Lisa Lynn Lockhart of Ruther Glen; her mother, Bonnie Meadows of Stafford; two brothers, Harold Meadows of Remington and Randall P. Meadows of Stafford; her sister, Diana Stinson of Cedar Bluff; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, with interment following in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the funeral home.
Lt. Col. Timothy S. Dwight
Lt. Col. Timothy S. Dwight, (USA Ret), 61, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Kathleen Dwight; his children, Justin and Danielle; his brother, Wayne Dwight; and his sister, Mary Phyl Dwight.
A funeral service was held Feb. 12 at St. William of York Catholic Church. Interment will be March 4 at 3 p.m. in Arlington National Cemetery.

Douglas F. Jones
Douglas F. Jones, 69, of Brooke, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Almon and Bessie Jones; a sister, Jean Vernon; and a brother, John R. Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Janet Jones; two daughters, Sherri Jones of Colonial Beach and Gina M. Smith of Stafford; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Jack A. Jones of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Feb. 11 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Colby Mason Lockhart
Colby Mason Lockhart, eight months, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was is preceded in death by an uncle, Gregory Fleming.
Survivors include his parents, Erica Deering and Michael Lockhart Jr. of Ruther Glen; a sister, Gabriella Deering of the home; his maternal grandparents, Dawn and James Deering Jr. of Spotsylvania County; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lockhart of Stafford County; his paternal grandfather, Mike Lockhart Sr. of Woodford; his maternal great-grandmother, Muriel Urquidi of Spotsylvania; his maternal great-grandparents, James and Lorraine Deering Sr. of Indiana; two uncles; and an aunt.
A memorial service will be held Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.

SGM (Ret) Thomas Kevin Owen Mathews, 73, of Stafford County, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ellen Ann; his daughters, Sheila Aileen and Theresa LaRue; his son-in-law Douglas Jett; his five grandchildren; his great-grandson. his brother, Capt. (USN Ret.) Charles Joseph Mathews; and his sister, Sheila Marie Allen.
A funeral service was held Feb. 11 at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel in Stafford. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

Gerald John Neufang Sr.
Gerald John Neufang, Sr., 72, of Fredericksburg died Feb. 11, 2010, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
H was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Neufang: his wife, Joanne Neufang; a grandson; and his sister, Florence “Phronsie” McCarthy.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald J. Neufang Jr. of Stafford County, Jeffrey S. Neufang Sr. of Manassas, and Joel M. Neufang Sr. of Stafford; a daughter, Jill Ann Keenan of Winchester; 14 grandchildren; and four brothers, William Neufang of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Richard Neufang of Burlington, Ky., Robert Neufang of Solvay, N.Y., and Edward Neufang of Tucson, Ariz.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Feb. 16 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with interment following Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester.

Josephine M. Paranzino, 83, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelina and Donato Berard; her husband, Joseph Paranzino.
Survivors include her children, Mark Paranzino of Stafford, Michael Paranzino Bremerton, Wash., David Paranzino of Virginia Beach, Dennis Paranzino of Madison Heights, and Joanne Williams of Spotsylvania; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Fredericksburg with entombment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg handled arrangements.

Minerva May Rollins, 89, of Stafford County, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clayton Rollins; and a daughter, Veronica Jewell Byram.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Toombs of Fredericksburg; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Feb. 15 at Potomac Baptist Church with interment following in Potomac Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters, Anita Schleigh of Spotsylvania and Robin Schooler of Falmouth; two stepchildren, Craig Schleigh of Spotsylvania and Sheila S. Ambrose of Stafford; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gladys Brooks of Spotsylvania.
