Thelma Faye Pefferman

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pefferman.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Wade Bond and Douglas E. Bond Sr.; four stepsons; a sister, Nell Harrison, six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Feb. 5 at 3:30 p.m., at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford. Inurnment will be in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Shirley J. Stead

Shirley J. Stead, 86, of Stafford County, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stead Sr.; and a son, Robert T. "Bob" Stead Jr.
Survivors include her grandson, Robert M. Stead of Ruther Glen; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will held Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery.

John M. Sullivan

John M. Sullivan, 49, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at his home.
Survivors include his parents, John and Betty Sullivan of White Oak; lifetime friend and caregiver, Keith Anderson; and his children, Kyle and Courtney Anderson of Fredericksburg; a son, Dustin Truslow of Orange; brothers, Gregory R. Sullivan and Lloyd Ray Sullivan, both of White Oak; two sisters, Kelly Curtis of Hartwood and Joanie DeShazo of White Oak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Jan. 29 at White Oak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
