Donald Allen Bassett, 72, of Warsaw, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at Henrico Doctor's Hospital.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Molly Bassett; his children, Kitty Hayne, Deborah Bassett and Sheri Cooke; his father, Edwin B. Bassett; his sister, Linda Haggard; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held May 12 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford with interment following in Quantico National Cemetery.

Samuel Louis Homrighausen
Samuel Louis Homrighausen, 96, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Hughes Home.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda E. Stillwell; a stepson, Edward G. Stillwell of Maryland; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held May 14 at Landmark Yacht Club in Stafford.
Myrtle V. Cooper MacGregor
Myrtle V. Cooper MacGregor, 96, of Stafford, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Stafford Hospital Center.
Survivors include a son, Alaric R. MacGregor Jr. of Stafford; five grandchildren; Alaric; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held May 17 at MacGregor Family Cemetery at Concord.

Everett V. "Buddy" McWhirt, Sr., 82, of Stafford County, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. and Sallie Belle McWhirt.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Peggy A. McWhirt; his children, Barbara M. Cooper, Joseph W. McWhirt, Linda McWhirt, and Everett McWhirt Jr.; a brother, Sidney McWhirt; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held May 16 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg with entombment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Mary S. Nicholson, 99, of Falmouth, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Woodmont Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Nicholson; and her daughter-in-law, Ida Nicholson.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Nicholson of Falmouth; a granddaughter Jane; a great grandson; a great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held May 16 in the Shelton Family Cemetery in Falmouth.

Ashton Richard Thomas, the son of Christopher and Jessica Thomas of Stafford County died May 7 at the age of 3 months.
A service was held May 16th at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.
Shirley C. Tulloss
Shirley C. Tulloss, 77, of Augusta, W. Va., formerly of Stafford County, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in Winchester surrounded by family.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Frank S. Tulloss Jr. of Augusta, W. Va.; two daughters, Katherine E. Tulloss of Winchester and Teri Tulloss Bockian of Orlando, Fla.; three sons, Frank S. Tulloss III of Fredericksburg, Robert S. Tulloss of Yorktown, and John C. Tulloss of Staunton; six grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Chaplin; and her brother, Charles H. Chaplin Jr.
Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg handled the arrangements.
A funeral service was held May 16 at Aquia Episcopal Church, with interment following in the church cemetery.

Anna Greta Marianne Williams, 81, Fredericksburg, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her residence.
Survivors include her son, Andy Williams of Falmouth; her daughters, Kathy Jean Newton of Stafford, Viola Ann Bueday, and Carol Sue Spencer, both of Drakes Branch; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams Jr.; her; and two grandchildren.
A service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 19 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford with interment following in Stafford Memorial Park.
