FALMOUTH — Deputies are searching for a suspect or suspects who broke into the Fredericksburg Assembly of God in south Stafford sometime between the night of Jan. 25 and the next morning, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

RICHMOND — The Supreme Court of Virginia has refused to grant The Rutherford Institute’s petition for a rehearing in the case of a 14-year-old student who was suspended for shooting plastic “spitwads” while at school.

FREDERICKSBURG — The Virginia State Police recovered a stolen vehicle in Spotsylvania County that was stolen from the Walmart parking lot in Central Park early in the morning Jan. 11, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.
