Resident: Discover Stafford informative

I am interested in knowing more about the county that I live in and just received the insert in today’s Stafford County Sun. I want to say thank you. I am learning different places and different things that one can do on the side with the time provided. I would love to help around in my community, along with try to keep my credits up in becoming a master gardener.

I also am happy to see more information on the universities that are around. I am interested in taking part-time classes to educate myself to move in the direction that I want to go. I have found the information provided in the insert very helpful and it will be put to good educational use. Once again, thank you very much for this.

In addition, what an interesting and very knowledgeable article in this week’s Stafford County Sun. With today’s economy and its ups and downs, gas prices and food prices soaring sky high, one must know how to put the money to good use and be able to manage it. Whether one belongs to a bank or to a credit union the information that the financial institution provides is incredibly helpful in many ways. One of the ways is by learning to set up a savings account and learning to budget. One can only spend money on a checking account when there is money in that account to back it up.

A good way to learn more about budgeting, savings, and loans is by going online to your financial institution. Better yet, call your financial institution and ask them how you can learn from information online and do your homework! When I need to know what certain words and ways that you can achieve a goal with the financial institution, I click on the right subject and start reading and learning information. This is a way to encourage yourself to learn how to manage your money in a correct manner.

I really enjoyed the article and I think it is a great way to start and learn to manage you own financial stuff. A good example would be, keeping a jar of loose coins, asking your financial institution if they have wrappers for loose change and rolling them when you have the exact amount needed for the paper roll. This is one good way to learn to manage money. Calculate how much money you have saved and then take it to the bank and add it to your savings account. It’s fun and the bonuses add up!
