Reader gives thoughts on travel article
With the dismal, gloomy economic conditions that we all are going through these days, not many of us would like to travel on Thanksgiving and the holiday season due to the economy, rising and falling prices of everything and the way things are going, like the gas prices, food prices and the hotel/motel prices. This is a very stressful situation these days. Even having the gas prices drop, one needs to plan out how many miles are needed for a vacation, as well as fill ups and stops that will be made for the special destination. This is a difficult time for lots of us and we just need to make the best of what we have by enjoying the ones we have around us, make more homemade things and let others know that we are thinking of them. This is how I am going to celebrate my holidays this season. I am going to try to make this a cheerful situation for myself and make the best of it.
