Planning goals or resolutions will benefit me. I see myself mixing a lot of resolutions together. I will make them a long-term goal since I hope to achieve progress from these goals throughout the year. Keeping a daily journal/log and an exercise journal/log is one of the things that I just started to do, but adding in a food journal is a very smart thing to do and this is going to be an extra ingredient that I will add to the recipe, including stick to "fat- free" licorice, as I keep track of my food intake.

Thanks to local holiday volunteers
Many thanks to all of the volunteers and contributors who made the Stafford American Legion Post 290 Post Christmas Food Basket program another great success! The post's Christmas Basket program has been a tradition for over 60 years and allows needy families of Stafford County to enjoy a few warm dinners and experience the joy of their children finding some presents under the tree. This was possible through the huge contributions of food and toys from the children of Stafford County Schools, other charitable organizations and local businesses of the county. Every year, the Stafford Legion Post 290 collects and distributes non-perishable groceries and toys to the needy families of Stafford County and this year we certainly set another record for food baskets.

More than 375 local families including young Marine families stationed at Quantico and young Army families at Ft. Belvoir were given help this year. We also were able to assist local community churches and service organizations restock their food shelves to help feed even more people of the area. This year's volunteers worked long and hard collecting, sorting, packing, and delivering baskets all day Thursday, Friday and again on Saturday. Thank you all for doing this! The continued success of this program could not have been possible without those dedicated volunteers who gave their time and effort to make it a success.
