STAFFORD — Three people were arrested over the weekend after a Stafford County man was beaten with a baseball bat in early June. Authorities in Stafford and Spotsylvania have been investigating since the incident occurred.
William Landymore, 50, of Stafford, Craig Washington, 39, of Spotsylvania, and his wife April Washington of Spotsylvania, were each charged with aggravated malicious wounding, according to Bill Kennedy, public information officer for the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Landymore’s 40-year-old roommate, called the police to report the incident. The victim had been involved in a dispute with Washington, police said.
After being taken to an area hospital and treated for his injuries, the victim was released, following the June incident.
The Washingtons and Landymore each faced arraignments Monday, and are being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
