Stafford Hospital to celebrate first 100 days

STAFFORD — On Sunday, Stafford Hospital Center acknowledged its100th day of operations since the opening Feb. 27.

To celebrate, the hospital will invite the community, Stafford County Administration, local and state legislators, along with the nearly 50 new mothers and their babies born at the hospital within the first 100 days.

The celebration will take place Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the hospital, located off U.S. 1 near Courthouse Road.

Virginia State Sen. Richard Stuart will be in attendance, as well as hospital staff leaders.

The hospital will also present the new babies with a $100 savings bond each, and Stuart will host a special presentation for the hospital center’s “first family.”

Refreshments and tours of the hospital will be available to all attendees.
