The recent loss of celebrities Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, all in the span of a few days of one another, serve to remind the rest of us that life is indeed short and sweet.
With one, age and illness were factors; for another, cancer; and for the third, the death was a sudden and shocking thing for many of his fans to endure.
But no matter what the case and circumstances, those of us left behind should realize that we should try at all times to make the most of the time we have here, because tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone.
Blessings come both great and small. They are seen in the fact that many of us are simply healthy.
So, bad days will come and go, but be reminded that life is short and fleeting. Try to remember that there are many people suffering something far worse, somewhere. And a good day is around the corner.
Celebrate family and friends, and the good times we all have to spend with them. Celebrate holidays, such as The Fourth, and make the most of tiny moments in life that will serve as future memories.
Remember those celebrities too, who brought us joy through their performances and appearances, for they were in some way a part of our lives.
