WOODBRIDGE — A man wanted for shooting and robbing a man in Manassas Park is still on the loose.
Ashton Tarrell Monroe, whose last known address is 16160 Taconic Circle in Dumfries, is wanted in connection with a robbery that happened in the 8600 block of Overhill Drive in Manassas Park, on June 18.
Police said the victim was shot in the leg during the incident. Monroe is still considered to be armed and dangerous, stated a Manassas Park police press release.
Monroe is wanted for armed robbery and malicious wounding. Police did not release his age.
It is not clear about the condition the man who was shot. A spokesperson with the department could not be reached for comment Thursday.
Police in Manassas Park are still looking for clues in a home break-in that happened between Dec. 25 and Dec. 27, 2008, in the 100 block of Courtney Drive.
In a press release issued this week, investigators said that numerous pieces of jewelry, a laptop and cash were stolen during the burglary.
