STAFFORD —There’s a job opening on the county board of supervisors, as one board member prepares to leave his post for another position.
The Stafford Board of Supervisors is looking for applicants for the Garrisonville District Supervisor seat that Mark Dudenhefer will be vacating.

Those who apply for the soon-to-be empty seat on the board must be registered voters who live in the Garrisonville District in Stafford County.
The board would like from each candidate a letter of interest, a resume, a board bank application, a certificate of candidate qualification and a statement of economic interest. Candidates can find a link to those forms at the county web site at staffordcountyva.gov under Board of Supervisors.
Applications should be sent by 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 27, to Marcia Hollenberger, chief deputy clerk, via e-mail to mhollenberger@staffordcountyva.gov, by fax to (540) 658-7643, or by mail to P.O.
