Fourth-grade teacher Peggy Kerestes is P.T.O. Employee of the Month.

Chosen employees receive a front-row parking space, gift certificate to a local restaurant, banner for his or her classroom and a certificate of appreciation.

Stafford Head Start
The following Program Self-Assessment meetings have been scheduled. The Community Self-Assessment meeting will take place Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. On Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. the Program Governance Self-Assessment meeting will be conducted. The Program Governance Self-Assessment meeting has also been scheduled again for Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. The Facilities Self-Assessment meeting will be that same day at 1 p.m.    Parents are invited to attend these meetings.

The next Family Literacy Night will be held Dec 12. Activities will begin at 5 p.m. A light dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and ESL, GED, Parenting Skills classes, and the December men’s event will be held at 6:30 p.m. 

Students will receive a LEAP Nutrition Education class on Dec 13, 14 and 15 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The classes of Jane Barry, Lesa Beach, Charlotte Hooten, Jocelyn Thomas and Cheri Willis will visit England Run Library on Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. 

The Policy Council will meet Dec. 14 at 11 a.m.
