NORTH STAFFORD — A Stafford County man was charged with attempted murder after a Dec. 14 altercation during which the man and his wife were both stabbed, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Kendrick Parker, 35, was charged with attempted murder, police said.
That morning, a woman from the home called police for help and said that her husband was injuring himself with a knife.
When police arrived, the home was locked, but deputies went around the back of the house through a sliding glass door.
Inside, they discovered the injured man — Parker — with stab wounds in addition to his 30-year-old wife, who had been stabbed in the upper body, multiple times.
Kendrick Parker was incarcerated in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
