Reader impressed by Timberlake, Marines
I was pleasantly surprised to read about Justin Timberlake taking Marine Cpl. Kelsey De Santis out to her unit’s annual ball dance that was held at the Richmond Convention Center. Cpl. De Santis had asked Mr. Timberlake to the ball several months ago and he accepted, so it is great that he kept his word and came to the ball.
Justin Timberlake has posted on his website a letter that said the Marine Corps Ball was one of the most moving evenings that he has ever had. This, to me, shows a great appreciation for the thought and action that was taken. He is also honoring the fine men and women of the U.S. Marine Corps.
His attendance shows that Mr. Timberlake is an honest and honorable person. After reading the article, I actually felt a sense of self confidence and pride for both the star and the Marines and decided to write on it to show how I felt.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our wonderful, strong and very courageous Marines throughout the country.
Just talking about how the Marines are strong, honest and have faith gives me the courage to do things that I am scared to do. Go out there and show yourself you can!
