School News: Oct. 21 paper

The Colonial Forge Sound and Guard competed in the United States Scholastic Band Association's South East Virginia Regional Competition in Virginia Beach Saturday. Competing in the 4 Open Division they took 1st place in the division, 1st place Overall Effect, 1st place Visual Effect, and 1st place Percussion. They were also Grand Champions with an overall score of 84.3.  The Sound and Guard's next performance will be VBODA, Saturday, October 29th at Massaponax High School. 

Colonial Forge High School will add a health fair to its annual craft show Saturday Oct 29 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Last year the craft show sponsored by the CFHS Athletic Boosters, attracted more than 600 visitors.

Vendors at the craft show and health fair will include representatives  from Mary Washington Trauma Unit, Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, and Massage Matters.
