STAFFORD — Four applicants have applied for Mark Dudenhefer’s open position on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.
Board members said Tuesday that they will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Jan. 9 to interview applicants for the Garrisonville District supervisor position. The meeting will take place in the Board Chambers of the Stafford Administration Center at 1300 Courthouse Road in Stafford.
Dudenhefer is moving on to represent the 2nd District in the Virginia House of Delegates.
The applicants for his local board position are Gary Pash, Ty Schieber, William Dawn and Thomas Nutton.
Pash is a former board of supervisors member from the Garrisonville District.
Schieber has been on the county school board representing the Garrisonville District.
Dawn is the owner of Dawn Financial Services, Inc. and a certified public accountant.
Nutton is a longtime Stafford resident and retired communications technician.
The board has discussed appointing an interim supervisor and then holding a special election to appoint a final supervisor to take over Dudenhefer’s spot.
