‘Fun’ run to be held at Park Ridge Elementary

On March 20, Park Ridge Elementary School in Stafford will sponsor its annual 5k and one-mile run/walk.
Last year the event had 583 runners of all ages come out to participate in the fun.
In addition to interacting with the community and gaining the benefits of a healthy run, the theme of the day is fun.

Witnesses saw smoke before fatal plane crash

LOUISA — Witnesses saw smoke coming from the airplane and noticed that it “didn’t sound right” just before it plunged to the ground, killing the pilot and igniting a house, an investigator said following the incident.
